Have you ever felt that slight frustration with Breton dancing? Seeing others having a great time dancing a kost ar c'hoad or a mountain gavotte, while you have to stand on the sidelines waiting for a dance you know?

What if we changed that?

Pierre has something different in store for you this term. Not just a simple afternoon workshop, but a real deep dive into the world of Breton dancing.
Over the course of six classes, spread throughout the term, you will explore a lesser-known repertoire that embodies the richness and power of the fest-noz: the plinn suite, the Loudéac suite, the kost ar c'hoad, the mountain gavotte suite, the 8-beat laridé, the 6-beat ridée, the rond de Saint-Vincent, the kas a-barzh, and more.

But the goal goes far beyond simply learning the repertoire.
You will work with Pierre in detail to find pleasure in dance and power in connection. It is a complete exploration, technical, musical and social, to give you the keys that will allow you to feel truly comfortable and unified on the dance floor.

We invite you to join the dance, complete the circle and come and experience for yourself the incredible feeling of the exchange of energy and the magic of Breton dances!

A rare opportunity to immerse yourself in another ‘dance logic’ by benefiting from Pierre Chesneau's expertise and passion. A folk dancer since the age of 9, he grew up attending traditional dances in central France and Breton fest-noz celebrations every summer. During his development as an internationally recognised teacher, he has often worked with and explored the richness of movement, music and cultural expression in Breton dances.
